I help fund-raise for this Saturday morning music school charity, which provides high quality low cost music tuition to young people in Hackney continuously throughout their school years. This was, and still is, unavailable to the majority of school students in the borough. HYOT will be featured as my nominated charity in a forthcoming editon of Cash in the Attic, to be broadcast early summer 2010.

I am the patron of and help fund-raise for Ukuthasa, based in South Africa and working in HIV/Aids education and counselling. With the average life expectancy there predicted to be no more than 34 in some communities by 2040, helping children to deal with the reality of HIV/Aids has to be a top priority.
