I help fundraise for this Saturday morning music school charity, which provides high quality low cost music tuition to young people in Hackney throughout their school years. This is unavailable to most school students in the borough. HYOT was featured as my nominated charity in BBC1′s Cash In The Attic, shown summer 2010.

I am the patron of and help fundraise for Ukuthasa, based in South Africa and working in HIV/Aids education and counselling. With the average life expectancy there predicted to be no more than 34 in some communities by 2040, helping children to deal with the reality of HIV/Aids has to be a top priority.
